Updating Email Signature – Web Browser

Step 1: Navigate to your Outlook inbox online. (https://login.microsoftonline.com)

Step 2: Choose “Settings” button from the top right corner. (Gear-shaped icon)

Step 3: Type email signature in the search box.

Step 4: Copy and paste sample signature from the signature Word document. Reminder: the signature should be in the Calibri font, name in bold, position title in italics. Follow the format of the provided Word document.

Step 5: Personalize social media handles (if desired). If you do not have personal social media handles that you would like to share, you may keep the @SWBTS Twitter handle and @swbts Facebook handle. To personalize, highlight the piece of text and move to Step 6.

Step 6: With the text highlighted, click the “Link” button pictured in the red circle.

Step 7: Choose the text to display (@swbts or your personal Twitter handle, i.e.: @AdamGreenway) and add the address in the appropriate box. Click “Ok” when you have input your information.

Step 8: Click the “Save” button (upper right corner) to save your new signature. Note: if you are setting up your signature via the browser, there is not an option to create a separate Reply signature.
