The table1.1 shows the welfare facilities provided by MSRTC and employees/ respondents
satisfaction in respect of it. Here, with the help of Chi- square test, researcher tested the present
hypothesis.
Here, H0 = The employees are not satisfied with the different facility provided by MSRTC,
Nanded Division.
H1= The employees are satisfied with the different facility provided by MSRTC, Nanded Division.
Calculation of Chi-square Values

Source: Calculated by researcher with the help of table 13
It is found that, the calculated value of chi-square (x2) is 20.55, whereas for 8 degree of
freedom at 5% level of significance the table value is 22.0. Since, the calculated value of x2 is less than
the table value. Therefore, null hypothesis is being accepted.

for 1 degree of freedom at 5% level of significance the table value is 3.841. Since, the calculated
value of x2 is less than the table value. Therefore, null hypothesis is failed to reject.
Hence, the present hypothesis i.e. employees' job satisfaction level is very less has been retained.
