Monthly Highlights…
“Let’s Rap”: Taking the Word to the Streets During the month of August, Swagga4Christ Ministries and Divine Faith
Ministries, Inc. hit the streets of Springfield, Ma to begin the outreach “Let’s Rap.” As we walked the streets of Springfield, it was miraculous how open
people were when talking about God. We were blessed to have the opportunity to talk to various people from various walks of life. From a
grandfather walking his grandchildren to a teenage girl who was not ashamed to express her opinions on the church, it was a blessing to see God at work. There was one man in particular and his three children who confirmed the importance of this outreach. As we conversed with him and his children about Jesus, he told us that, a few minutes before he ran into us, his son
found a cross pendent on the ground as they were walking down the street. He explained to us how he just moved to the area and how he was looking
for a church home for him and his family. He felt our meeting was confirmation to him of God's calling and he said he would come to church.
So many times, we forget the everyday people. Think of how many individuals you walk by, drive by on a daily basis. How many times, in the midst of our busy daily routine, do we actually take a moment to remember
the everyday people we come across. Let us start becoming more mission and ministry minded and less "me" minded. Let us not get so caught up in our
church cliques and our Sunday Services that we forget we are called to preach the gospel to the nations. If God's been good to you, you better tell
somebody while you still have time!

Show Ur Swag! This month’s broadcast of “Show Ur Swag” will feature
aspiring actress Jaime Kelly. Jaime is a youth who loves Jesus and who is not afraid to show it. In this month’s
broadcast, Jaime creatively talks about the place where she found Christ. Be sure to check out her broadcast
which will show on Monday, September 30th.
The World & The Word Connection
For many of us, the month of September marks the
beginning of the school year. As we start this new school
year, no matter what grade you are in, whether it be
middle school, high school, or college, remember that in
everything you do, you represent Christ (2 Corinthians
5:20). As the word says, you are the salt of the earth
(Matthew 5:13) and the light of the world (Matthew
5:14). As you interact with your friends, teachers, and
whoever else may come your way, make a promise to act
as Christ would have you act throughout the school day.
Instead of giving into peer pressure and involving yourself
in things you know are not pleasing to God, make a vow
to yourself and to God that this year is going to be your
year. Make a promise to yourself that you will not settle
for less than your best, not just academically, but with
the people you chill with, the conversations you have,
and the things you involve yourself in throughout the
day. Remember, each choice you make has an effect.
Make the choice to choose Christ in all situations… and
lastly, have a great school year!

words of the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20. Likewise, as our ministry
