has identified five specific goal areas into which we distribute ourresources:

VISUAL:Each of the fivespecific goals will occupy

their own thematic screensas V/O describes thatspecific goal.

DOWNTOWN, in partnership with the Downtown RacineCorporation and in service to the DOWNTOWN PLAN.

The goal in EDUCATION: Guaranteed learning opportunities forall children.

We envision Greater Racine REGIONAL PLANNING that promotessustainable growth and development, and shares local revenuesand services for the common good.

Sustainable Racine remains in active partnership with the RacineCounty Economic Development Corporation, whosecomprehensive, county-wide ECONOMIC ADJUSTMENT STUDYhas already resulted in sweeping improvements.

Sustainable Racines focus on NEIGHBORHOOD PLANNING hasprovided neighborhood groups with the tools needed to createand expand community-building assets. These results areparticularly immediate and stunning.

Sustainable Racines State Street Grocery Store and Restaurantproject, for example, has become the catalyst for a stunningreinvigoration of the State Street Corridor. This much-traveledapproach to Downtown Racinewhichonce appeared abandonedand impoverished, now shines aesthetically andeconomically.

The Randolf Street T-block coalition received funds to create aneighborhood garden, which has since grown and thrived into abeautiful, life-affirming green space that encourages a sense ofcommunity.

    SUPER: Sherrylynn Campbell, Randolf Street

Sherrylynn Campbell V/O: The Garden is just a blessing for us because its like a NEWBIRTH.[edit] We have a neighborhood meeting the secondTuesday of the month, so we go in the garden and meet in thegarden when its nice enough. When the weather permits wemeet therewe have the barbeque there.

V/O: And the spirit is spreading; gardens in the first and seconddistricts are now also flourishing.

The North Beach Playground is designed by local kids and builtwith volunteer power, a true community collaboration.

Sustainable Racine worked hand-in-hand with volunteers andactivists to make the park a reality.

    SUPER: Bob Ortel

Bob Ortel V/O: They have been a major source of good funding assistance; theyhave also been a major source of good counseling and contactsin the city of Racine to get this project rolling and keep itmoving.

V/O: Creating and maintaining the Oak Park Playground has broughtthe surrounding neighborhood together.

    SUPER: Tillie Hyatt

Tillie Hyatt V/O: Everyone contributed. Everyone in the neighborhoodpeoplewho didnt even live in the neighborhood.[edit] The playgroundis just wonderful. Its just wonderful to see the kids playing thereinstead of on the street, and having to worry.

VISUAL IDEA for the SOUNDBYTES above:While the person in question is speaking, show a montage of the specific projects he/she isspeaking of in the background (as well as key phrases and words).

In the FOREGROUND, have a STILL SHOT of them speaking (fairly big 2/3 screen at least, and

cut-out) come in from offscreen and move slowly from left to right, dissolving into one or twoslightly different expressions and poses as they transit across the background.

V/O: Set to open in July, the Root River Pathway is a wonderfuladdition to our citys park system; a great place for bicycling, rollerblading, or just old fashioned strolling.

These are but a few of the building blocks which have led toRacines new designation as an ALL-AMERICA CITY [SUPER:logo]. SUSTAINABLE RACINE sponsored the citys entry, and theWest Sixth Street Revitalization Effort was one of three projects

    presented in our winning application.

V/O: Another high-visibility project is our beachs recognition in thenational BLUE WAVE CAMPAIGN [SUPER: logo] as one of only twoparticipants on the Great Lakes.

The BLUE WAVE CAMPAIGN is Americas first environmentalcertification for beaches, and members who hope to fly the BLUEWAVE flag at their beaches are judged on 33 criteria.

[perhaps scroll up criteria list here].

How important is a healthy lakefront? The economic impact toRacine County from decreased beach closings cannot beoverstated - - especially given the fact that the beaches cannotbe used year-round.

V/O: What also cannot be overstated is the profound difference madeall over Racine due to the support of All-Saints Healthcare. Wereextremely grateful for your ongoing commitment to SustainableRacine and our community. Your financial contributions aredirectly responsible for the great transformation happening allaround us

V/O: We dont plan to slow down. Our partnership projects alreadytouch virtually all parts of Racine

VISUAL/FX: This will be executed to show dynamically the VARIETY,QUANTITY and GEOGRAPHIC BREADTH of Sustainable Racinesprojects:

Overhead map of Racine, then pop-up dots start to appearslowly and begin to pepper the map, each accompanied by asuper specifying the name of the project (which fades to makeroom for the next one).

ALTERNATELY: Have the dots on the map appear OUTWARD from

the center to emulate a ripple in water.

V/O: but theres still much work to be done.

Sherrylynn Campbell V/O: I think the more we put into it, the more theyll help us also, soits just great.

Child V/O: THANK YOU SUSTAINABLE RACINE!

V/O: And thank you All-Saints Healthcare.
