UCOP Support for Carbon OffsetsCreated an group (CATC) to oversee CNI funding to solicit, select

and fund UC initiated offset projects and vet voluntary market options

The CATC reviewed all CNI initiated projects and selected 7 for this year and 7 for next year funding

Review quality of available international, domestic and California only offsets

Will make recommendations for 10 campuses by the end of the summer

UCSF to purchase in CY 2020 to offset projected 2020 emissions to meet the policy requirement of achieving 1990 levels emissions by 2020
