This year taxpayers will have to tacklethe complexities involved with provisionsof the Affordable Care Act, as well ascomplex changes in depreciation forrental property owners and businesses. Now is the time to consider the services

of an Enrolled Agent (EA).While many CPAs do tax work, most

focus in other areas such as businessaudits and general accounting. EAs allspecialize in taxation. To earn the EAlicense, they must pass a stringent three-

part exam administered by the IRS thatcovers individual taxes, business taxesand representation of clients before theIRS, or have relevant experience as a for-mer IRS employee. EAs, CPAs and taxattorneys all have unlimited rights of rep-resentation in IRS audits, collections, andappeals, but only EAs receive their licens-es from the federal government. They areoften referred to as "Americas taxexperts."

In order to keep up with the cly changing tax code, EAs are rto complete 72 hours of continufessional education in each thr"enrollment cycle." Members National Association of Enrolled(NAEA) must go beyond the IRS ment and complete 90 hours in thtime period.

You will find one of Americexperts at Gross Tax Service,Germantown. Michelle Gross Emanaging member of the firm, wh

founded in Germantown in Michelle is a member of NAEA,ly serves as secretary of the WSociety of Enrolled Agents, and isber of the Better Business Michelle and her staff are currecoming new clients. Contact her schedule your day, evening, or wappointment at 262.255.1600.

PET OF THE WEEKFinn is a handsome young guy! He initiallycame into WCHS as a stray and was adoptedbriefly. His temperament was wonderful, however, he bullied the other cats in thehome. He is a very calm and tolerant boy withpeople, and would most likely get along well with children 8 yearsor older in his new home. He does need to be the only pet in thehousehold, as he loves to be the king and wants all of yourattention. Finn is a real lover boy with his humans and has a way ofcharming everyone he meets! Won't you come meet Finn to see ifhe will be the purr-fect addition to your family.
