DIMENSIONAL CONTROL

RSL have provided a dimensional control service to the petrochemical industry since 1974, both

onshore & offshore in the construction of jackets and topside facilities.

RSL has a dimensional involvement in sub-sea pipeline installation measuring transmission and flow line by mechanical and optical means to sub millimetre tolerances.

The dimensional control aspect has been developed to encompass survey work on online tanks, columns, vessels etc; for modification and replacement in the chemical production sector.

RSL Limited has a well established Marine Division of dimensional control using marine specific

software graphical programs in conjunction with standard and sub-millimetre total stations.

RSL is a recognized leader in Dimensional Control surveying. Our expertise in Dimensional Control has made it the focal point of our services.

TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEYS

RSL, as part of our complete service addressing all facets of surveying, are also specialists in the field

of topographical mapping.

Using the latest in electronic surveying equipment and automated plotting facilities, detailed surveys and any size complexity can be undertaken and presented in a scale drawing form or in digital data, compatible with a wide range of CAD design systems.

CIVIL ENGINEERING

As a company RSL have provided site Engineers with or without survey equipment to various civil

orientated companies on a wide variety of contracts, from domestic housing to multi-storey offices, road construction and monitoring services for listed buildings under refurbishment. RSL are able to install Engineering capability to address and civil requirements.

MACHINE SURFACE SURVEYING

alliance with Furmanite International ltd, worldwide specialists in many mechanical engineering solutions. Customers are now benefitting from our skilled and experienced Dimensional control machining teams to meet all your requirements.

We have the experience in surveying pre and post machining where high standards in tolerances are

required. Our instruments are capable of measuring to sub millimetre accuracy in X, Y AND Z directions and we

have carried out a wide variety of surveys from module interfaces and crane pedestal slewing rings to precise rolling systems for Armstrong Flooring.
