«Surfing Bird» After Effects extension tutorial

Step 1After extension installation you should create an account on our website. We have simple registration, just enter your email and password and you are done. After that you need to confirm your email.

Step 2Open After Effects. Then go to Window > Extensions > Surfing Bird. Here you need to sign in to your account, that you created on our website before. It happens only ones on the first run of extension.

Step 3Next step is very easy. All that you need is to make only three actions. Go to twitter.com and copy the link to the post. Then paste it into extension and press go button. Extension will import template to your project and download all post data such as text, pictures, videos and GIF animations. And that is all, animation is automatically created, your composition is ready to render.

Make the same steps for other Social Media. Currently extension works with Twitter, Instagram, Telegram Groups, and web sites screenshots. In the future we are planning to add more Social Media resources.

Also, you can take screenshot of any web page (e.g. https://bbc.com). Extension will take full page screenshot of the web page and import PNG file to your project.

Save your projectIf you want to save your project for further use, you should collect it (File>Dependencies>Collect files…). This is done because extension downloads and stores all data in temporary directory, and data will be deleted in 2 weeks after downloading.And that is all, it is so easy.
