Different oncologic pathologies follow many and various routes of development in current times.

Daily surgery practice and performance is one of our main concerns, and it is also the end point of our learning process.

The practical aspects of surgery will be approached and updated in the course of these Oncologic / Kidney Transplant / Urology immersions workshop form the most basic concepts to the most controversial ones.

They are addressed to urologists and other medical staff practising uro-oncologic surgery.

SURGICALIMMERSIONSWORKSHOP

Workshop DevelopmentThis immersion workshop will be carried out in the operating theatre, and in only one day the participants will be directly involved in four surgeries to be performed by our centreurologists. An educational talk on the technical details of the operations will be held the day before the surgeries.

The aim is to spend two intensely active days during which we will address all basic and practical aspects in a constructive mood, with the purpose of promoting wide interaction between surgeons and attendees.

Basic anatomical concepts and practical demonstration by means of surgical videoclips.

• Live surgeries • Identification and management of intra-, peri-, and

post-operative complications in each of the techniques used.
