Critical to advancing customer missions is the provision of strategic forward supply chain and logistics support. Peraton is the sole contractor managing the Avionics and Propulsion Group supply chains for the RCAF CF-18 aircraft, providing excellence in supply chain management in support of the classic fighter fleet.

Prestigiously, Peraton was the first commercial organization to achieve the Acceptable Materiel Support Organization accreditation in Canada under the Department of National Defence (DND)/Canadian Armed Force’s (CAF) Technical Airworthiness Program. Our certified procurement process and qualified base of over 300 suppliers ensures that all material we procure for the RCAF meets all essential requirements of airworthiness.

DND’s trust in Peraton’s excellence in supply chain management is further emphasized by the largest allocation of Government owned materiel (GOM) that is under its care, custody, and control. This allocation of GOM is significant being approximately 10x greater in magnitude than the next largest allocation in Canada. With an industry inventory error rate typically less than 5%, Peraton has an impressive track record with an error rate of less than 0.00001%. Peraton ships over 250 shipments annually which is notable as military equipment requires special consideration due to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
