• With the motorised system, maximum convenience can be obtained with the optional intelligent control system, which automatically regulates the fins according to the sun path

INTRODUCTION:The frame for the Heavy Duty System has strong rectangular extruded aluminium profiles to create a bigger shutter – both in width and height. The fins are all fixed within the vertical frame profile, so fixation is not visible from the outside. The only fin type available in South Africa is Fin Type 3.

This sturdy frame allows for:Steel inserts to create larger shutter dimensions;Shutter lock to create an extra safety barrier to protect against unauthorised access.

FIN TYPE:Each fin provides the Sliding Shutter with a unique look. Depending on windload, the maximum fin spans may vary.

SLIDING SHUTTER LOCK:A lock provides added protection against unauthorised access. A standard solution is available for the Heavy Duty System, in combination with fixed fins.

Luxalon® 84R Façade SystemShort system descriptionThe Luxalon® 84R Façade Systemconsists of 84 mm wide rollformed,round edged panels (1), which cansimply be clicked on the prongs of a 84Rstringer (3) to form horizontal or verticallines. The stove enamelled aluminiumpanels are recyclable, lightweight andstrong. The panels are made tomeasure and can be supplied in anylength from 800 up to 6000 mm (otherlengths are available on request).Panels can be joined by using the panelsplice (5) or by means of panel overlap.Between the panels there is an openjoint. Depending on the type of stringerused, these joints can be filled with areversed panel or join profile (2a, 2b) toform a closed façade appearance. Thejoin profiles or reversed panels can besimply inserted or slide into the openjoint by hand, without using any tools.The stringer (3) is black, made of0.95 mm thick stove enamelledaluminium and is provided with prongsto accommodate the panels. Differentmodules are available (see systemoverview). Stringers have a standardlength of 5000 mm..

Façades - 84R System

Practical applications• Between the panels there is an open joint, which can be closed with reversed panels or join profiles. The panels combined with theseprovide a visually closed façade.• Open joint systems can be created for all applications requiring open area for ventilation, acoustics etc.• Curved façades can be achieved by using curved 84R panels.• The façades have a concealed fixing system.• Panel length made to measure from 800 up to 6000 mm, allowing for swift installation and reducing the need for joining the panels to a minimum.• Panels are made from a corrosion resistant aluminium alloy.• The Luxacote® coating combined with aluminium of the highest category for corrosion resistance, guarantees:- Colour and gloss stability;- High scratch resistance;- High corrosion resistance.

Why the 150F Façade System?

The 150F System consist of 150 and 200mm wide roll formed panels with a tight joint. The panels are made to measure and can be supplied in any length from 800 up to 6000 mm.
