Superintendent Pay Transparency Act Proposed July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017 Contract Approved by Board of Education - February 8, 2016 In accordance with the Superintendent Pay Transparency Act, following is a copy of the Superintendent contract between Elkhorn Public Schools and Stephen R. Baker as well as the Detailed Estimate of Base Pay, Additional Compensation & Benefits in the format provide by the Nebraska Department of Education. In summary, the estimated value of the contract in 2016-17 is as follows: Base Pay to Mr. Baker: $248,500.00 Estimate of Benefits and Payroll Costs Paid to Mr. Baker: $ 11,660.54 (Maximum payment for 5 potential unused vacation days, Mileage & Phone Allowance) Estimate of Benefits and Payroll Costs to Outside Entities: $ 57,077.71 (Insurance, FICA tax, Medicare tax, NE Retirement & Dues) The total maximum estimated cost to the District for 2016-17: $317,238.25 Any questions regarding the value of the Superintendent’s contract may be directed to Pam Roth, Exec.
