Ni Based SuperalloySame excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid and other strongly reducing chemicals as B-2 alloy, but with significantly better thermal stability, fabricability and stress corrosion cracking 3 alloy resistance. A new Ni-Cr-Mo alloy with superior resistance to hydrochloric and sulfuric acids, without the drawbacks of the Ni-Mo and Zr materials. Its resistance to these key chemicals is much HASTELLOY HYBRIDgreater than that of the popular Ni-Cr-Mo (C-type) alloys, yet it shares with them the BC1alloy outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice attack in chloride salt solutions, and even withstands high levels of oxidizing impurities that the Ni-Mo alloys cannot cope with. HASTELLOY C-4 High-temperature stability in the 1200-1900F (650-1040C) range as evidenced by good alloy ductility and corrosion resistance. Virtually the same corrosion resistance as alloy C-276. Better overall corrosion resistance in oxidizing corrosives than C-4, C-276 and 625 alloys. HASTELLOY COutstanding resistance to localized corrosion and excellent resistance to stress corrosion 22 alloy cracking. Best alloy to use as universal weld filler metal to resist corrosion of weldments. HASTELLOY CThis alloys was designed to exhibit corrosion resistance comparable to other C-type alloys, 22HS alloy but which can be heat treated to obtain approximately double the yield strength. Versatile, corrosion resistant alloy. Very good resistance to reducing, and mildly oxidizing HASTELLOY C-276 corrosives. Excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance with very good resistance to alloy localized attack. Excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and 2000 alloy superior resistance to localized corrosion as compared to C-276 alloy. HASTELLOY N alloy

Good resistance to aging and embrittlement and good fabricability. It has excellent resistance to hot fluoride salts in the temperature range of 1300F to 1600F (705C-870C).

DESCRIPTION NICKEL 200 IS A COMMERCIALLY PURE NICKEL USED IN CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENTS THOUGH & DUCTILE AT BOTH HIGH AND LOW TEMPERATURES. 201 IS SIMILAR TO 200 EXCEPT THAT THE CARBON IS RESTRICTED TO 0.02% MAX. Ni 201 IS PREFERRED TO Ni200 FOR APPLICATIONS INVOLVING EXPOSURE TO TEMPERATURES ABOVE 600F.. A NICKEL-COPPER ALLOY WITH HIGH STRENGTH, EXCELLENT CORROSION RESISTANCE AND TOUGHNESS OVER A WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE. HIGHLY RESISTANT TO CORROSION BY CHLORINATED SOLVENTS, GLASS-ETCHING AGENTS, SULFURIC ACID RICAL AND MOST ALKALIES. CAN BE USEFUL IN OXIDIZING ATMOSPHERES TO 1000F. 405 IS SIMILAR TO 400 WITH SULPHUR ADDED TO IMPROVE MACHINABILITY. AGE HARDENED VERSION OF ALLOY 400 FOR INCREASED STRENGTH AND HARDNESS. EXCELLENT CORROSION RESISTANT IN MANY MEDIA. RESISTS PITTING, CREVICE CORROSION, AND INTERGRANULAR CORROSION. 800 IS A STRONG NICKEL-IRON-CHROMIUM ALLOY RESISTANT TO OXIDATION AND CARBURIZATION AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES . IT RESISTS STRESS-CORROSION CRACKING, SULFUR ATTACK, INTERNAL OXIDATION AND SCALING IN A WIDE RANGE OF INDUSTRIAL ATMOSPHERES. 800H IS THE CONTROLLED CARBON AND SOLUTION ANNEALED MODIFICATION OF 800 ALLOWING APPLICATIONS IN THE HIGHER 1300-1800F HEAT RANGE FOR USE IN AGGRESSIVELY CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENTS.
