Objectives

Specifications

• 115V 16” electric smoke ejector

• 5200 cubic feet per minute at 1725 RPM

• 4 blade aluminum alloy propeller

• Motor is explosion proof and UL rated

• Unit weighs 50 lbs.

Specifications

• 20’ flexible ducting

• Ducting has high tensile reinforcing wire to maintain maximum airflow

Use

• Ventilation– Positive– Negative– Combination

• May be used inside buildings because unit does not emit toxic fumes

• Pull out switch rod to turn unit on

• Push switch rod in to turn unit off

Use

• Used with San Jose bracket to hang from ladder, window or to stack

• Used with ducting for confined space ventilation

Maintenance

• Disconnect unit from power source before any maintenance is performed

• Check blade for build-up of debris or dirt which may cause imbalance

• Clean with mild detergent or water• Position guards with rings to outside and spot

welds on bottom when replacing after cleaning• Unit is completely sealed and does not require

any lubrication for life of the motor

Safety

• Wear proper PPE– Helmet, gloves and eye protection as a minimum

• Check ventilator inlet and outlet guard for obstructions

• Remove any objects that could be drawn into ventilator intake

• Place unit in desired location before connecting to power supply

• Do not wear loose clothing that may be drawn into ventilator

• Use proper voltage

Safety

• Check ventilator inlet and outlet guard for obstructions

• Ensure guards are properly secured• Do not operate ventilator on unsteady

surfaces such as tables or slanted surfaces

• Avoid using near water• Do not place fingers or foreign objects in

ventilator
