What it can be played on…

Super Mario Bros. can be played on almost every gaming system I believe, such as:• Wii• Xbox• PS3• Nintendo DS (3ds, dsi, dsiXL, ex..)• PC

Page 4: Super Mario Bros

Characters.

Mario• He is the main character ibn the video

game “Super Mario Bros.”• Created by Japanese video game

designer Shigeru Miyamoto • Mascot for Nintendo• Mario first appeared as the

protagonist of the arcade game Donkey Kong.

• His trademark abilities are his jumping and stomping powers, he defeats most of his enemies with, and his ability to change size and gain powers with a lot of various items, such as the Super Mushroom and Fire Flower.

• He is Determined to save Princess Peach

Luigi• Luigi is Mario’s little brother.• He helps his brother fight to rescue

princess peach.• He was added to the Mario series to

have a two player option.• He has his own game called Luigi’s

Mansion.• He is also a major protagonist in the

Mario Series.• Luigi had gained his own identity and

personality.

Characters.

Princess Peach• She also goes by Princess

Toadstool.• Princess of the Mushroom

Kingdom• She stays in her castle with many

her Toads.• Her kingdom often gets attacked

by the Koopa Troop, a group led by Bowser.

• She really loves the color pink.• Peach's initial design was said to

represent her stubborn, yet cute, appearance.

Princess Daisy• She is the princess of Sarasaland.• She was created by Gunpei Yokoi, Shigeru

Miyamoto's mentor.• Even though she is the ruler of Sarasaland,

she currently resides in the Mushroom Kingdom.

• She is a tomboy, something made clear in her debut appearance

• She loves flowers; her attire, special abilities, personal emblems and general representations are usually flowers.

• Years after her initial appearance, Daisy started appearing in more and more Mario games because there weren't enough human characters in the series.

Characters.

Bowser• He sometimes known as King Koopa.• Bowser is the main antagonist of the

Mario series and the King of the Koopa.• He has repeatedly kidnapped or

attempted to kidnap Princess Peach and try to take over the Mushroom Kingdom.

• Despite his villainous nature, he has sometimes helped the heroes of the Mushroom Kingdom against common threats and participates.

• Bowser has been in almost every Mario game, including the main series.

• He is generally cast as an antihero or a minor villain.

Stereotypes.

Everyone’s favorite Nintendo flagship plumber is a generalized, blanket caricature. Early versions of the turtle-tossing hero came complete with a terrible Italian accent and bad guys called “Koopas.” Mario would even use words like “Pizano.” While he is way better than any of the Italian-Americans in Mafia or Mafia 2. Italians have little to look forward to; their scale of representation is either a gangster or a pipe-jumping embarrassment chasing turtles and crabs.

Violence in the game.

In a nutshell, Mario and Luigi are brothers who have to fight their way through the Mushroom Kingdom to save Princess Peach. Throughout the kingdom, they fight enemies and overcome obstacles in order to make it to the last fight against Bowser. The level of violence in this game would be like a 4 out of 10, in my opinion. I agree with the research I found, they do have to do that but it isn't really that bad.

Page 9: Super Mario Bros

Most Positive things in the game.

The Positive stuff about this game is that Mario is saving someone(Princess Peach). He beats up all the bad guys and then fights the really bad guy and then saves the Princess and returns her to her kingdom. In reality he is doing a really good thing, if life were a video game of course.

Page 10: Super Mario Bros

Most Negative things in the game.

The most negative stuff in this game is that all the bad guys get killed, even though we all know that they need to DIE. The bad guys kidnap people(Princess Peach). Then Mario has to waste all his energy to save her(that’s positive and negative).

How old were you when you started to play Super Mario Bros?

Um, Maybe like 4-5, my uncle had a Nintendo 64 and my aunty used to play it all the time, and I wanted to try it so I did, it was super easy so I kept playing it and its like my favorite game, still…. And I think that being like 2 is too young, because a 2 year old would just get confused quit then go cry in their room whilst playing with 2 year old toys…

Page 12: Super Mario Bros

How many hours have you played this game?

In total, maybe like 4 weeks, (in total) so like 672 hours in total… maybe, *makes I don’t know sound*

Page 13: Super Mario Bros

Why do you enjoy this game? Why is it your favorite?

I like this game because it isn't hard to play and I get frustrated easily so. I couldn’t play GTA or COD. Id get too confuse…. Then get mad. Then quit… Mario is easy and not confusing… So that’s why I play it…… Its my favorite because Mario.!

Video game addiction.

Video game addiction is when you cat stop playing a game, like on a gaming console or on the computer. No, I'm not a video game addict.. I don’t really play games but when I do I play for like 3 hours at a time… or maybe 5 if I'm with my friend.. But other then that I only spend about an hour or half an hour on the computer a day, or every other day.
