Super Ellipse: The Most Versatile
and Effective Beauty Treatment
ByGrove Beauty Clinic
IntroductionMost people with bothersome skin
complaints or unwelcome hair believe that
they will always have to live with their
irritating beauty ailments. However there is
hope: effectively healing ailments for over
millions of people and having been used for
more than a decade, the Ellipse Super Light
IPL is quickly becoming the method to treat
ailments as expansive as sun damaged skin
and red vein removal, through to pigment
disorders and acne.
What is IPL?
For anyone seeking permanent hair
reduction, or a method to treat ailments
such as sun damaged skin and red vein
removal, pigment disorders and acne, IPL
uses a bright light directed onto problematic
parts of the skin, which penetrates its upper
layers.
For hair reduction, the treatment causes the
destruction of the hair follicle, stopping the
hair from growing again and for skin
conditions, it eradicate any unpleasant
blemishes, leaving smooth, clear skin. It also
reduces the necessity for frequent waxing or
shaving.
How does it work?
In its most simplistic form, the Intense
Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment entails short
bursts of very bright light released from a
flash-lamp which is focused onto a problem
area of skin.
The pulses of light are skilfully controlled and penetrate the upper layer
of the skin. In the instance of hair reduction treatments, this causes the
destruction of the hair follicle; when remedying a skin condition such as
rosacea, the light diffuses the redness of the skin. The laser works by
targeting the melanin in the skin and the haemoglobin in the blood,
leaving you with permanently reduced hair growth or completely
eradicating any unpleasant skin blemishes – disorders that you may have
thought you’d have to endure forever.
How long will I need to be treated for?The amount of IPL treatments that
you will need will vary depending
on the level of the skin disorder.
Your course of treatments will be
personalised to your needs by an
Ellipse qualified beauty therapist
here at the Grove Beauty Clinic,
but to give you an idea,
For thread veins, one to four treatments may be suitable, again subject

and three months between each. For skin complaints such as thread
veins, between one and four treatments may be needed. It is very
important for each client to speak with a qualified therapist before
undergoing treatments, for advice, which is tailored to providing only
the best results.
