Sunny Dawn Johnston is a gentle, loving and supportive inspirational teacher, author, motivational speaker and psychic medium. She has helped thousands of people across the country find their personal spiritual connection, recognize and “own” their natural spiritual gifts, and listen to their inner truth. In December 2003, Sunny founded Sunlight Alliance LLC, a spiritual teaching and healing center in Glendale, Arizona. Sunlight Alliance LLC offers classes on a variety of spiritual subjects such as: communicating with your angels, reiki, mediumship, intuitive development, death and dying and many more. These are offered at the healing center as well as thru online streaming. So if you don’t live in Arizona, you can still connect with Sunny from the comfort of your own home. Sunny also facilitates healing retreats in Sedona, Arizona as well as throughout the United States and internationally. Sunny has been featured on many local and national television and radio shows including Coast to Coast with George Noory and Good Morning Arizo-na. She has hosted an international radio show as well as two internet radio shows. Sunny is actively involved in the spiritual community and frequently conducts informational outreach work. Her workshops and seminars are highly attended through out the country. This is a not-for-profit organization of Psy-chic, Investigative, and Canine Search & Rescue (SAR) volunteers working together

I wanted to take a moment and thank you for a great class last night ... all the way home I was saying OMG to the realizations that I have made. I had become very connected with Spirit and when things happened I put up a huge block saying “Oh, I don’t want to hear that” and I pushed Spirit away! Quick update: September 2008 I was guided to leave Iowa and move to Virginia Beach and I did in January 2009! Q & A with SUNNYQ. Where were you born and where have you lived longest in your life?A. I was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and have lived in Arizona for 18 years.

Q. What is your life purpose?A. My life purpose is to help guide and support people in finding their truth, the truth that lies within. I am living my life purpose in every moment.

Q. What was the most sacred moment you have had in your life?A. The most sacred moment I have had in my life was the day my ex mother-in-law transcended her body. It was a day I will never forget. The synchronicities of the day’s events began at 10am with a phone call. She had no brain activity, was comatose and being taken off life support. The doctors said she would not live 5 minutes after taking her off support, but they didn’t know the spirit of this lady! I immediately flew from Arizona to California, drove 2 more hours and when I arrived she was still alive … 5 hours after being disconnected from life support. I KNEW she would wait for me to be there with her. When I arrived, I climbed into bed with her, held her hands in mine, and could feel the sacredness of those hours. I had 18 more hours with her, a miracle, the doctors said! She waited for me … to give me the gift … the gift of the sacred moment when she took her last breath on earth, and began her journey home. The moment she left, I felt her spirit move through me; my body trembled with an energy I had never felt before. That moment changed who I was and who I would become!

Q. Who was your greatest inspiration to leading you to your purpose?A. My greatest inspiration is my mother. She has really been my support system and encouraged me to be who I was, even when I didn’t fit in. That was the greatest gift I could have received.

Q. What’s the big question that we, as human beings, should be asking ourselves at this time?A. We should be asking ourselves what we are doing to make a difference.

Q. What is the greatest misconception among the general public about psychic ability?A. The greatest misconception is that people don’t believe they have the gift within themselves. They think it’s something that only certain people have or that it’s something that is outside of them. Everyone is psychic and everyone can learn how to connect to their intuition.

Q. What’s the most rewarding aspect of what you do?A. The most rewarding aspect is really seeing people connect and watching people grow within and finding that trust within themselves, that self-worth. It’s rewarding to help people find the tools that allow them to trust themselves and know that they can find the answers within, because that’s where the answers are. When that little light bulb goes on and their life starts to change from that moment on, that is the greatest gift.

Q. What is your favorite word?A. My favorite word is “create.” Q. Why are you optimistic about the future of humanity in this time of uncertainty and fear?A. I am optimistic about the future of humanity because we are in a time of change. Change is happening … people are becoming more aware! It is a beautiful thing to see people moving towards their spirit! I truly believe that humanity is learning that “we must be the change we want to see in the world,” just as Gandhi said.

Q. Who do you look up to as someone who is leading humanity in the right direction?A. One of the people I look up to is Louise Hay. She’s been an inspiration since I was very young, because I read her books. She re-ally taught me how to believe in myself and honor myself and love myself. She’s a great example of what one person can do.

It is relatively simple for a psychic medium to come up with endorsements. Clients often react to such individuals with passionate, overflowing gratitude and thanks. I, however, am not a client.

In January 2005, Kris packed up her belongings and moved from Ohio to Colorado because of a yearning and longing that would not go away. Upon seeing the mountains, something inside shifted and unbeknownst to her at the time, she came home to her mu-sic and herself. Kris returned to her old time friend and companion, a 614ce Taylor guitar. She began writing lyrics and music that spoke of her inner belief that “we are Spiritual beings having a human experience.” This writing phase lead to the self-produced album Just Breathe. On this album, Kris wrote, played, recorded, mixed and mastered all of the tracks. In addition to this, Kris created two instrumental CDs entitled Chakra Balance and Heart Rhythms.

In October 2007, Kris performed titles from her first CD Just Breathe at World Angel Day in Phoenix Arizona. She was invited to play by Sunny Dawn Johnston and she wrote two songs for the event: “Help Me” and “You’re My Angel.” She got to see firsthand how her music affected the audience and her live playing career began. The song “Just Breathe”

was also awarded the “Honor Award” in the Acoustic Folk category from the Great American Song contest.

In 2008, Kris returned to the studio and self-produced her second album entitled Dream the Dreams of Life, along with the music for all of Sunny Dawn Johnston’s meditation CDs. In 2009, Kris self-produced her third album In The Colorado Mountains and has been sharing her music at many Unity churches throughout the United States in addition to Celebrate Your Life Phoenix and Chi-cago, performing alongside Sunny Dawn Johnston.

In 2010, Kris and her partner moved to Glendale, Arizona to continue working with Sunny Dawn Johnston at the Sunlight Heal-ing Center. Currently facilitating workshops and healing retreats with Sunny and releasing her sixth album, The Wind of Change, Kris uses her inspirational lyrics and melodies to guide you to a place within that allows you to see the truth of who you are.
