361. Today that's how many days we have traveled during 2014. A new year is just around the corner presenting to us just as 2014 did joys and sorrows, ups and downs, victories and defeats. I am thankful that the God we serve is a God of new. His mercies are new everyday. His grace is new everyday and everyday is a new day. As you contemplate 2014 what did you do right? What mistakes have you learned from? God is the same yesterday, today and forever. God will be just as awesome in 2015 as He was in 2014. God will be just as present and concerned next year as He was this year. There's a song by Darlene Zschech of Hillsongs Australia "I Will Never Be the Same Again." This song says:

I will never be the same again, I can never return, I've closed the door.

I will walk apart, I'll run the race And I will never be the same again.

Fall like fire, soak like rain,

Flow like mighty waters, again and again. Sweep away the darkness, burn away the chaff,

And let a flame burn to glorify Your name.

There are higher heights, there are deeper seas, Whatever you need to do, Lord do in me.

The Glory of God fills my life, And I will never be the same again.

I pray that you won't be the same in the coming year. Go deeper, pray harder. Ask of God to do a great work in you!

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” (Revelation 21:5)
