(5-10 minutes) Stilling: Sit down. Sing “Be Still” with the motions to get ready for God’s story. (Once again, your kids can lead this part) (1 minute) Story: It’s Easter! HE HAS RISEN! (Woohoo!) - Watch Ms. Tammi read “The Best Day Ever” (great for 0-5 year olds) and/or - This Easter video and/or - Read the story from the Bible (it’s pretty short): John 20:11-18 (it’s in all the other gospels, too) Wonder: Ask some wondering questions. (1-3 minutes) Examples: I wonder how the women felt when Jesus wasn’t in the tomb? I wonder what they thought when they saw Jesus? I wonder how you feel about Jesus being alive? I wonder what you want to say to Jesus today? Response time: A time to respond to the story (7-15 minutes) Response time playlist God’s Big Story Cards: While you can do individual time if you want, this week and next would be a great time to use some God’s Big Story cards (if you have them)! Easter is card 134. If you don’t have them/can’t find them, this week’s card is pictured on the next page. Pick 1-2 of the colors and do them together.

Return to the Story (3 minutes): Read John 20:1-18 together. We also light a candle during this time to remind us that Jesus, the light of the world, is with us.

Close in prayer (2-3 minutes): Do prayer requests if you want, and then close in prayer
