Staple foodsThe cuisine includes a lot of baked foods,

wild game and gathered food. Most dishes are based on the fresh seafood, especially shellfish and fish. Staple foods are corn, beans, squash, herbs, rice,chilies, spicies, meat, fruits, vegetables, potatoes (sweets), blueberries, sasktoon berries, maple syrup, fiddiecheads, mussels, caribou, bison, salmon wild, rice, cheesses, peppers, ginger, garlic and coconuts.

Mexican foodThis cuisine is characterized with colors,

decoration and variety of spices. This food is one of the richest in vitamins, minerals and protein, so when you taste this food, you will get a healthy alimentation. The main meal consist of soup, meat or fish, salad and potatoes. Pastries or ice cream. Bread, dairy products and canned fish are plentiful. Most foods are readily available.

Mexican recipe Ingredients:1 pound of ground beef, 1 onion

finely diced, 1 can of red kidney beans, 2 cups of stewed tomatoes, 1 tablespoon of chili powder, salt, and paprika.

InstructionsAdd the onion, ground beef, garlic,

kidney beans, tomatoes, and chili powder to a heated frying pan. Simmer one hour, stirring occasionally. Remove the skillet from the heat and allow eggs to cook in water for five minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika.

Mexican Celebrations

This celebration is not scary - it's fun! It is a way that people show respect for the dead. In this celebration people eat bread of dead. The bread of dead Special dish of the Day of the Dead. It is a sweet roll that is baked in different shapes, from simple round shapes up skulls, decorated with figures of the same bone-shaped pan and sprinkle with sugar.

CelebrationsThanksgiving day is celebrated the 4th Thursday of

November in Usa. In Canada is the 2nd Monday of october. In this day people gather at home and prepare a feast with friends and family. The Thanksgiving meal includes a stuffed turkey, yams, potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, rolls, gravy and pies.

Canadian foodSome of the popular foods are wild rice, smoked fish,

beef, ethnic dishes, Pacific salmon, and a variety of foods similar to those in the United States. Grains are more common inland and seafood is more popular on the coast. Dessert and sweets are very typical as maple syrup and pie.

chopped almonds or hazelnuts,100 g chopped onion,10 ml olive oil. Vinaigrette: 10 ml olive oil, 2'5 ml cider vinegar, 5 ml maple syrup, salt and pepper to taste

Put the rice in boiling salted water cook until the grains are open (approximately 60 minutes). Drain, pass under cold water, add a little oil and cook on low heat until dry. Preparation (dressing): In a bow, mix the olive oil, cider vinegar and maple syrup and season. Stir well. Preparation (salad): Incorporate green peppers and diced red rice. Add the almonds and chopped onion. Pour the vinaigrette over the salad and season to taste.

Jamaican recipeJerk 2.5 lbs pork tenderloin, 6-8 green onions, 1

habanero chile without seeds (or 3 serrano with seeds), 2 Tbs allspice, 2 Tbs lime juice, 2 Tbs soy sauce, 3 garlic cloves, 2 Tbs fresh ginger, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar (or more for a sweet jerk), 1 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 3 tsp vegetable oil.

Add garlic cloves to food processor. Pulse until rough chopped. Add green onions, ginger, and habanero. Pulse until well chopped. Add lime, soy, allspice, salt, sugar, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, and oil. Run processor until pureed. Recite secret Jamaican Jerk incantation while transferring marinade to a ziploc bag and adding the tenderloin. Marinate for 8 hours. Grill pork on all sides until pork has a pink center. This dish is usually served with rice.

Johnny cake2 cups boiling water, 1 teaspoon salt,

1 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 cup cornmeal

Slowly add the cornmeal to the boiling water and cook for five minutes. Add the sugar, butter and salt. Pour into a buttered ovenproof baking dish and finish cooking in the oven.

Brazilian food

Brazilians like fruits and soft drinks. They also like lots of coffee. They make a special coffee Brazilian style called a cafezinho. Some favorite fruits are the mango, papaya, coconuts, and many more. Most of the stands are cooking bean cakes and crabs using sauces, and African herbs and spices. Other than that, most foods and supplies are like that have in America.

750 grams pumpkin , peeled diced

small seedless ; butter; 1 large onion; salt, pepper, 2 cloves garlic

In a skillet place the pumpkin cubes, garlic, finely chopped like onion and 150 grams of butter. Cover with lid and cook until squash is completely tender stirring regularly to prevent sticking, add salt and pepper to taste and finish cooking for about five minutes. Serve hot with rice.
