OUTDOOR ADVENTURE BEGINS WITH SOAR!Outdoor pursuits provide exciting and fun opportunities to build confidence, community, friendships, and leadership skills! Unplug and spend the day with friends in the great outdoors!

At Summit School, we value our surrounding wilderness treasures and the benefits outdoor adventure provides our students. New research suggests exposure to the natural world may improve intelligence, by heightening senses and sensibilities, and stimulating our ability to pay attention, think clearly, and be more creative. Beyond those benefits, SOAR outdoor adventure trips supplement an academic curriculum with experiential opportunities to build confidence, community and new friendships, as well as develop leadership and group living skills. SOAR focuses on providing experiences for personal growth and age appropriate challenges, as well as opportunities to interact with Summit faculty and staff through new and exhilarating

activities. SOAR provides students the opportunity to unplug and spend quality time with friends outside. Plus, outdoor adventures with your friends is just plain FUN!

Encourage your child to join us on many of our outdoor adventures offered during conference days, vacation days, weekends and after school. Trips are led by qualified guides and outfitters. We have trips for all ages. Check out our 2015-16 SOAR catalog, sign up today, and let the outdoor adventure begin!
