The students were excellent and we had fantastic teachers. Everyone worked extremely hard.
We would like to announce this year for the first time our four up and coming summer school students who won awards: Keir Hylands, Melanie John, Julia Thomas and Alison Chapman, Congratulations!!!!!!!

The Term Dates Autumn/Winter 2013 Sat 7th Sep - Sat 19th Oct last day
Half termMon 4th Nov resume - Sat 14th Dec last day.
Spring term 2014 Sat 11th Jan - Sat 15th Feb last day
Half termMon 24th Feb - Sat 5th April last day.
Summer term 2014Sat 26th April - Sat 24th May last day

Summer School 2013
Welcome to Emma, Laura and Rachel.
Emma Ruth is our fantastic new musical theatre teacher. Her classes will involve singing, dancing, expression and working on old and new musicals.
Laura Bowry joins us as our new hip hop assistant teacher. She has won many titles including southern area champion numerous times. She is an aspiring choreographer and is excited about bringing her freshness to FSD.
Rachel Thompson is our new Flipside secretary who will be dealing with all the paper work for Flipside. Any questions regarding classes please email [email protected] •
Shakers and movers at FSD
• Parents Evening Thursday 17th October 7:30pm, small hall, Cobham Village Hall: To discuss all up and coming info at FSD including 2014 show, events and performance groups. Chaperone helpers for future events, if we do not get enough volunteers, events at FSD will not happen.
• Cobham Christmas extravaganza TBC.
• Flipside Christmas Party TBC: please see the notice board for further details.
• Her Majesty’s theatre: Sun 9th February. Performance groups: Subject to student numbers and commitment.
• Starpower Competition Dates. 17th - 18th May 2014 TBC.
• Molesey Dance Carnival June 2014 TBC.
• End Of Year Performance 2013 Show, 20th - 21sr June 2014 TBC, due to theatre availability.
Important Diary Dates
Our Summer school this year at FSD was a great success.
We are very excited to announce the Flipside new website is now launched. It’s clear and very user friendly, please let everyone know. Term dates are now up on the website and the next show dates for 2014 will be up very soon. •October Half term workshops:
30th, 31st, 1st Nov: 9.30am - 12.30. Dancing, games, singing, lots of fun. Ages 4 - 8 years. Cost £50 for the 3 mornings. Contact Rachel to register your child. If older students would also like workshops during the half term please email Rachel, [email protected] depending on the interest we will try to make it happen. •

We are very excited to announce that the new build is now complete. Portable mirrors and ballet barres have been purchased and we would like to thank you all again for your continued support at FSD to make our dance school the best it can be in all aspects. ALL classes NOW take place at Cobham Village Hall, we no longer operate at Downside. •

A new notice board is located in the foyer of Cobham Village Hall. It’s your responsibility to check the notice board for ALL new and up & coming information at FSD.
Please note the schools responsibility for the well being of the pupils only covers whilst they are within the school premises (during class or awaiting classes). •
