All of us at Providence Academy are excited to invite you and your family to experience a variety of enriching and fun experiences for students age 5 through the Class of 2018. Participants do not need to be enrolled at Providence Academy to participate and may register for one activity or several. The P.A.L.S. Camp is an excellent option for students, age 5 through entering grade 6, who want a full-day camp experience.

We promote active learning in a safe and comfortable environment by providing quality content, excellent instructors, and a focus on faith in God and moral character. Most activities take place on the school’s beautiful 42-acre campus, conveniently located in Plymouth, allowing students to take advantage of the outstanding available resources, including a synthetic mutli-sport field and state-of-the-art performing arts center.

Many of our programs reach enrollment capacity, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible atwww.providenceacademy.org/summer.

We look forward to being a part of your summer!

SOIL APPLICATION RESEARCH PROJECT This summer, the Soil Application Research Program will track the effects of fertilizer, compost, biochar, and a novel soil amendment known as “Precision Organics Test Product” (POTP) on the growth of river birch trees and swamp white oak trees growing on Providence Academy property. Additionally, we will determine the timeline in which nitrogen becomes available to plants for different soil amendments. Students participating in this program will engage in multiple phases of the scientific research process, including experimental design, data collection and statistical analysis. Our interest in this project is to examine how fertilizers, composts, and other products, impact soil microbes, and how these products impact the quality of soils for growing flowers, trees, and vegetables in urban landscapes. Key Information - All CampsMin/Max Number of Participants & WaitlistEach camp has a minimum and maximum number of participants and these requirements vary from activity to activity. A minimum number of participants is required in order for an offering to be conducted; the activity is subject to cancellation if it does not reach the required number of participants. The maximum number of students is determined based on the type of camp and the appropriate student to teacher ratio, so that all participants may gain the full experience of the camp; a waitlist is available for activities that reach the maximum number of participants.

PaymentPayment in full is required at time of registration; a $25 fee will be assessed for payment that cannot be processed because of insufficient funds or a declined credit card.
