Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission and Superior Township Parks & Recreation are sponsoring a FREE Summer
Playground Program for neighborhood youth in the Superior Township & Ypsilanti area who
have completed Kindergarten through 11 years of age.
Breakfast & lunch will be provided daily. Space
is limited to 50 youth, so register soon! (No program the week of July 4th)

Summer Playground Program:

GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
Since 2008, the Washtenaw County Parks &
Recreation Commission has sponsored
summer playground programs for at-risk
youth in economically disadvantaged
neighborhoods in the Ypsilanti area. This
effort includes hiring activity leaders,
providing sports equipment, table games, and
arts and craft supplies at each location during
the summer.
The programs are available for up to 50
neighborhood children who completed
kindergarten through age 11 at each site.
The program is FREE to participants,
however registration is required. Space is
limited so register soon!
WCPARC is excited to have partnered with other
community organizations to enhance the Summer
