If your child is currently learning an instrument, their lessons will automatically continue in September 2017 unless we receive notice from you to stop before September 1st 2017. Please email Daisy on [email protected].

Children in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 can choose to learn: violin, piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tenor horn, guitar, drum kit, African drums & percussion, ukulele and recorder. Year 2 children can choose from violin, piano and guitar and Year 1 and 2 children are invited to join our ‘first access’ instrumental group lessons, drum fun, where they explore beat and rhythm through movement, African drumming and percussion.

All our KS2 instrumental lessons have an associated before-school or lunchtime ensemble (brass band, string ensemble, wind ensemble, jazz band, guitar ensemble) that the children are invited to join at no extra cost when they are ready.

We want every child to have the opportunity to enjoy high-quality music making. As well as weekly curriculum music lessons and singing assemblies, there are daily music enrichment clubs after school. Year 1 and 2 children can choose to join our infant choir and African music and dance club, and children in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 can join the KS2 choir and one of our steel pan ensembles.
