Summer Math Curriculum Offerings During the summer, many students lose 2 to 2.5 months of the math com-
putational skill they acquired during the school year. *
Mathnasium “Summer Workouts”
At Mathnasium, summer programs are all about pre-
venting summer learning loss and helping
students to prepare for what lies ahead. For some stu-
dents, that means a solid review of previous material.
Others benefit from previewing upcoming concepts.
Most students will get some of both. Summer pro-
grams are available to all currently enrolled Mathna-
sium members. Summer-only Mathnasium member-
ships are also available.
Two or more sessions per week, about 60 minutes per
session, is the ideal schedule for this program. Come in
anytime during regular hours, as often as you wish,
whenever it is convenient.
Master Series Here is the opportunity for your child to master lifetime
math concepts and skills. Enroll in our year-round program
or just for summer.
Master – Times Tables (3rd grade and up)
Master – Percent Basic (5th grade and up)
Percent Advanced (7th grade and up)
Master – Decimal Concepts and Skills
(4th grade and up)
Master – Fraction Concepts and Skills
(3rd grade and up)
Jump Starts For elementary, middle, and high school
“mathletes”. Get ready for fall with introductions to
new topics or reviews of previous ones. SAT 1
Math Prep, or ACT prep for college bound high
school students, as well as SAT math
subject test prep. Jump start PK-1 Early Elem. Math (2nd grade)
Jump Start I - Upper Elementary Math (4th grade)
Jump Start II – Middle School Math (6th grade)
Readiness - Pre-Algebra Preview (6th grade and up)
Readiness - Algebra I Preview (7th grade and
up)
Readiness – Pre-Geometry (8th grade and up)
Review – Algebra I (or preview of algebra II)
Review – High school Geometry
NEW SAT 1 and 2, ACT , ISEE – prepare for these
important tests by learning test-taking strategies and the
underlying math.
Mathnasium has proprietary skills assessments for all
of these exams to target math deficiencies.
We support common core standards but explain it in
a way that makes sense.

muscles for a successful year ahead. For some students, this means a thorough review of previous skills.
Others will benefit from a preview of upcoming concepts. Most benefit from some of each.
