PROGRAMSSummer Brain Gain – ages 6-12Summer Brain Gain is six weeks of fun, theme-based activities designed to mitigate summer learning loss for early and upper elementary, middle, and high school youth. Each Common Core aligned learning module provides engaging project-based activities, with an emphasis on math, literacy, and 21st century skills.
STEM – all agesScience, Technology, Engineering and Math. Kids dive into the world of science by conducting cool science experiments or creating their own theories. The messier the project the better.
Triple Play – all agesWe encourage kids to be healthy in their minds, body and their soul. Triple play is a comprehensive health and wellness initiative that teaches kids how to improve their overall health. Kids will participate in fun physical activity and learn healthy habits to incorporate into their daily lives.
Arts - all agesKids will learn the techniques of drawing, painting, sketching and more.
Drama Matters ages - all agesKids will enhance their confidence and ability to perform as they learn the fundamentals of drama and theater. They will participate in fun theatrical activities to boost their self esteem.
Photography ages 12-15Kids will be able to see the world through a whole new lens. They will be able to explore their artistic expression through various photography techniques.
Dance - ages 9-15Outkast Dance Academy will be at the Club once a week to teach hip hop and jazz in preparation for the talent show at the end of the summer. Space is limited for this program. Sign up at the front desk or email [email protected] to save your spot.

EARLY DROP OFF: 7AM – 8:55AM
SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION SUMMER DAY CAMP FEES:• $85 per week • Deposit of $25 per week required to hold spot• All campers will receive a T-shirt
EARLY DROP OFF: $50 for ENTIRE summer (no prorated rates)
• All campers must be current registered members of the Club.
• Scholarships are available to families. Contact the Club for more information.
• The WVBGC is an approved CCRC agency for members up to 12 years of age.
MEMBERSHIP Annual membership is $35/year
ENROLLMENTMembership applications and Summer Camp Registration forms are available at the Main Clubhouse and online at wvgbc.org. All participants must have both forms on file and all emergency information must be updated and accurate.
Snack and lunch served Daily: Meals are provided by the Los Angeles Food Bank. Members may bring snacks and lunch if preferred, however, they can only eat at designated times and locations.
Groups: Your child will be placed in a group according to age. Members must remain in their groups at all times. Each group meets in designated area at 9AM for morning announcements and rotates around the facility throughout the day. All groups will have an opportunity to visit all areas of the Club and members are given choices at each hour.
Drop off and pick up: Summer day camp begins at 9am daily, however, you can come at any time during the day. When your child arrives at the Club he/she must sign in with their group leader. Parents/guardians must sign the child out at the front desk when picking up.
Field Trips: All summer camp fees must be paid in full in order to secure your spot on field trips. Field trips are additional and must be paid in full by the deadline indicated on the permission slip. Permission slips and/or payment WILL NOT be accepted the day of the trip. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you paid for a trip up front and you require a refund you must submit a Refund Request Form NO LATER THAN 3 days prior to the day of the trip. Refunds will NOT be granted after the 3- day window. Club shirts MUST be worn on ALL field trips. Field trips are tentative and subject to change.

First week of summer camp is always an adventure. Kids are encouraged to try new things and meet new friends. All kids will be issued a passport to document their new experiences.
Kids will learn about the world underground. Fun activities involving nature and the earth are planned throughout the week.
Sports, fitness and fun! Kids will learn about different sports and even make up their own wacky sports. Fun tournaments are scheduled all week and kids get to show off their favorite sports team gear.
Anyone can be a super hero and this week kids will explore the heroes in their lives. They will create their own alter ego and super powers. Our members can do anything!
Science is so much fun! Kids will dive into the world of S.T.E.M (Science, technology, Engineering and Math) Fun, messy experiments await!
The world is a rainbow of color and this week kids will show their pride for the color group they are in and participate in fun activities that are colorful in many ways.
This week is packed with excitement! Members will take part in popular TV show games and challenges culminating in a fun “Club” Family Feud.
We are celebrating the end of summer with our Ohana Hawaiian style. Hawaiian themed games and projects will be all week long and we will end our summer with a Hawaiian Luau.
