Task 1 Sport Summer 2020 Study Tasks To get you switched on to the world of ‘Sport, fitness and Wellbeing’ (probably the best career in the world), we have created some activities and tasks to test your current knowledge and highlight some areas you may be covering in September 2020… Firstly, let’s look at some basic anatomy. Click the links to take part in the online activities. Welcome to Boston College! We are really pleased you have applied to study with us and we are looking forward to you joining us in September. We want to make sure you have the best possible start, so to help you to prepare and to make sure you are on the right course, your tutors have set the below three tasks for you to have a go at over the summer. We would highly recommend having a go at the tasks, however these are not compulsory, so if you are unable to complete them it will not affect your place on the course. Finally, when working in the industry you need to know about good nutrition. Complete the table below with the seven main nutrients our bodies require. Work them out and then describe/explain their function. You can then create a nutrition log and write down what you have eaten for two weeks. When you join us in September, it can be used in lessons to discuss and analyse. Try to set it out professionally and include as much information as possible.
