El Camino College Community Education invites you to participate in a special event series designed to provide insight into today’s headline-grabbing events by looking back to our recent past. Ten Years After will examine, through text, video imagery, and discussion with specially selected guests, several major events from the year 2004. Whether you think you know everything about these subjects or are still trying to figure them out, this course will shed light on what was known at the time and what we since have learned. The aim of the series is to benefit from an objective distance to help us make sound judgments about current major events in science, politics, world affairs and popular culture.
