In situ: no water storage crop rotation, mulching, crop residue, terrassing, contour farming, runoff

irrigation, dry planting, trench, eyebrow basin, halfmoon, tie ridging, zie pit, percolation pit, drainage system(ditches, cut off drain, BBF, Ridge & Farrow)

Ex situ : water storage structure farm pond, diversion, roof water harvesting, microdams, wells

Biological: crop varieties and types, afforestation, multi-purpose tree planting

Technological: water lifting devices, spring protection, BBM
