The TE is an exceptional Network Performance Element, combining ultra-low latency networking features with the capabilities of a high-end test set. Establish, turn-up, optimize, monitor and maintain QoS-assured Carrier Ethernet services. The TE interoperates with Accedian Performance Elements, Modules, Actuators and programmable Performance Platforms to deliver a scalable core-to-edge performance assured networking solution tailored to your applications. Complete networking, assurance and test capabilities in a single, hardware-based Element: Integrated RFC-2544 & Y.1564 Service Activation Testing eliminates the need for hand-held test sets. Plug & Go™ auto- provisioning makes customer self-install a reality. Multi-vendor L2 OAM (802.3ag, Y.1731), L3 QoS (RFC-5357 – TWAMP Light) monitoring and test set interoperability ensure total end-to-end visibility. µs-speed, full line-rate packet processing is the fastest available: police, filter, tap, loopback, monitor and shape traffic at near- zero latency.
