Both cuttings should be clear full width of the board but any length under 5'. It's impossible to do 97% rule when you have a small SM.

FAS FACE: Same rules and limitations that FAS grade but you grade on the better face. REVERSE SIDE: Never below 1 Common grade. Same limitations than Select 6" et +.

The FAS 1 FACE is a big Select. 6"x 8' instead of 4"x 6'.
