Current Role: Database Administrator

Role Responsibilities

Responsible for requirement gathering and analysis of Oracle database servers.

Responsible for POC (proof of concept) of the different approaches.

Responsible for capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases in term of memory,

core and storage.

Responsible for Oracle 11g logical and physical databases implementation, and maintenance.

Responsible for Oracle database migration strategy of legacy system both large and small data

system.

Responsible for backup, restoration design and document.

Responsible for patching document.

Creation of SOP for BAU team to support new build and migrated databases.

Create or clone the Oracle Instance and Databases on ASM. Perform database cloning and re-location

activities. Managing table spaces, data files, redo logs, tables and its segments.

Maintaining data integrity also managing profiles, resources and password security.

Managing users, privileges and roles.

Install Oracle software and patches.

Build of standalone and RAC Oracle databases with Data Guard. Upgrading the 10g databases to 11g

including Data Guard.

Automated database monitoring using shell script with mailing property in case of error or alert.

Upgrading the Database from lower version to higher version. Performance tuning of Oracle database

to meet the client requirement. Write script to monitor the database with shell and PL, SQL code or

SQL PL, SQL code such as procedure, function, and package.

Manage and support the 150+ Oracle databases.
