This month EADT Suffolk Magazine has

teamed up with Sainsburys and its TU

fashion range in an to celebrate the brands

success in the county. Since launching its first

collection in 2004, TU at Sainsburys has established itself

as a leading fashion brand in the UK aiming to offer on-

trend high street style at a reasonable price.

From humble beginnings the TU team began with 15

people it now employs 160 staff at its head office

covering all aspects of fashion retailing from design and

buying, to merchandising and marketing. Approximately

83 million garments are sold every year making TU the

seventh largest clothing retailer by volume and the brand

is worth 500 million per annum.

In light of this, Suffolk is very important to Sainsburys.

Mervyn Chilvers, store manager of the Warren Heath

branch in Ipswich says, Warren Heath store ranks fourth

for clothing corporately. When comparing this to other

stores on a national level it is quite a significant position

to be in.

So it seemed like a great idea to shoot fashion pieces from

one of Suffolks largest retailers in an iconic Suffolk

location.

Our shoot, featuring a range of very wearable pieces from

the TU Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, took place in

picturesque Southwold, against the backdrop of several

well-loved landmarks.
