Coming on February 22, 2014, the Suffolk Board of District Deputies will behosting a Knight at the Racesfor our FAC Programat Bishop Fulton SheenCouncil #7479. So please Brothers/Sisters we need to support this function becauseit will be going to help our Brothers/Sisters in need. Thank you Mike and your Board

for doing this and also GK Roger Sirangelo for hosting it. Please see any of theDistrict Deputies for tickets and lets make this a huge success.

This past month we held our Charity Drive Kick-Off meeting which was wellreceived by all. What we need now is that every council and Columbiette auxiliary toget behind this and make this a huge success. Not only does it help our majorrecipient this year but also the other programs and charities the chapter sponsors.I know in my heart that Mike and his committee will do a Great Job! Thank You

Amelia Joseph for a good representation from the Chapter Columbiettes. Thanks goout to Bishop McGann Council for hosting this also.

This months meeting is also State Deputy Nightto be held for the very first

time atJoan of Arc Council # 1992

on February 21. The council is located at 110Myrtle Ave., Port Jefferson right off of Rte. 112. The council is very excited aboutholding a Chapter meeting let alone State Deputy Night.

Just a friendly reminder that on March 29, 2014 there will be a Testimonial forPast Chapter Columbiette President Mary Lundin. Please lets try to attend this eventand celebrate her accomplishments for these past 2 years as Suffolk ChapterColumbiette President. Lets continue to make the saucewith our sisterColumbiettes. Another quick note DD John Mastrosimones testimonial as PastFaithful Navigator will be on February 23 at StewartThomas Manor.

Dont forget February 14 is Valentines Day andthat is why we are not having a Chapter meeting on thatday so we can be with our wives/girlfriends. After all if itwerent for them we wouldnt be able to do the things wedo for the order.

In 1954, lobbyingby the Order of the Knights of Columbus

helped convince the U.S. Congress to add the phrase "under
