After two successful dinner receptions last spring andthis past fall were continuing the tradition Please joinus for the 2nd annual CEAS Honors Showcase andDinner on February 17 2015 from 5shy7pm College ofEngineering and Applied Science Dean Teik Lim will bethere to welcome all in attendance We will then havedinner provided by CEAS with a special baklavadessert courtesy of our own Dr Suckarieh the chair ofthe CEAS UHP Committee In addition you can expectto hear from distinguished faculty about opportunities tosatisfy your honors experiences Casual dress iswelcome and come and go as your schedule allows

We have a number of uppershyclass students who haveoffered to volunteer their time and insights to make theCEAS UHP experience stronger and more applicable toyour passions gifts and talents We want to thank afew of these amazing students for hostinglunchesdinners for the students in their respectivedepartments last November and December We alsowant to thank the faculty for investing their time to showsupport for our students by joining us for these mealsand discussions

Nippert Stadium Construction TourIn addition to the dinners we want to thank MichaelFlanagan and CJ Patel for working with Dr Suckariehto plan a small tour through Nippert Stadium for CivilArchitectural and Aerospace CEAS UHP students onJanuary 26 2015 It was a fantastic event andextremely helpful to learn how to manage such largepublic projects Interested in getting more involvedEmail Jason Autry to be considered for a DepartmentGroup Leader as we hope to have many moreopportunities in the future
