Subitizing Strategy and Practice Games What is subitizing? Subitizing is instantly being able to recognize how many objects are in a given group. Subitizing helps a child form mental pictures and understand that there are a variety of ways to represent numbers. BINGO: Play BINGO using a 0-5 dice. The instructor will call out the number. Students will cover any of the spaces that represent that number. When students get 5 in a row, they shout BINGO! The game ends, and you start over. Sample BINGO card: !
