STUPENDOUS PERFORMANCE BY ISM STUDENTS IN CBSE CLASS X RESULTS

The students of Indian School Muscat have once again brought laurels to their school by

securing cent percent result in Class X CBSE Board Examination for the year 2016-17. All the

students who had appeared for the examination have displayed a meritorious performance. It is

indeed an implausible achievement this year as 113 students have brilliantly secured a perfect 10

CGPA, 52 students secured 9.8 CGPA and 28 students secured 9.6 grade points. 291 students

secured above 9 CGPA. The school average CGPA IS 8.6 and the overall grade is A2. The

Indian School Muscat acclaims the exceptional rise in its subject toppers as well. A magnificent

number of 252 students have scored A1 in English, followed by 189 students getting the A1grade

in Social Science. 184 students secured A1 in Mathematics and 190 students have got A1 in

Science. An overall 201 students scored A1 in Hindi, French, Malayalam, and Arabic.

Students who had scored a perfect 10 were elated and attributed their success to understanding

the concepts clearly and periodically revising the lessons. They were thankful to their teachers

and parents for the guidance and support.

Mr. Deep Wilson, the Vice Principal, Senior Section, Mr. Eskalin Gonsalves, the Assistant Vice

Principal, Senior Section, Mrs. Geeta Chauhan and the staff congratulated the students for their

brilliance, hard work and high standards of performance. The Principal Dr. Rajeev Kumar

Chauhan, while talking about the victory said, “ISM rejoices at this glorious victory and gratifies

in the laudable performance of the students.” He appreciated and applauded the diligent work of

the teachers.
