The University of the Sunshine Coast’s (USC) Gympie campus was established in 2013, and provides state-of-the-art facilities for studying a number of degree programs.
Established in 1996 and located in one of the country’s fastest growing regions, the University of the Sunshine Coast has grown to accommodate just under 10,000 students. Since its establishment, the University has focused on community engagement, campus development, innovative programs and a personalised approach to learning. At the start of 2014, international students from 69 different countries made up 11% of USC’s total student population.
An initiative of the Australian Government, under the Education Investment Fund, USC Gympie’s facilities include a 75-seat lecture theatre, tutorial rooms, study areas and interactive learning technology connecting with USC’s Sippy Downs campus. USC Gympie offers smaller class sizes than on the main campus, as well as a range of personal and study-related support services to assist students’ successful outcomes.
Degree programs offered at USC Gympie include Education, Nursing, Business and Accounting, as well as the opportunity to study a selection of courses related to the social sciences, including psychology.
