Students attend every press conference and cover games at Northampton Saints RFC – our Premiership Rugby team.
We are the official sponsors of Northampton Town FC and students from our course have got jobs in the press office there after graduation.
Silverstone race track is just eight miles away from Northampton. Our students go there to cover live events and to learn how the industry works.

We have a County Cricket side just up the road where you can do your placement.
We have high performing Non League football sides Kettering Town, Brackley Town, Corby Town within a few miles and our students cover them too.
We have a World championship boxer; two Paralympians; an Olympic archer a snooker & darts star locally.
And we have top level Ice hockey, horse racing and basketball just 20 minutes away.

• GCSE in English Language.

As well as reporting on local sport throughout the course, students will have to do two weeks placement at a sports club or media organisation.
