The retail at the Xuchang Huadu hot springs is designed as a very lively retail street, connecting the existing hotel with newly built residential areas, and the famous hot springs complex. the total retail area is about 12000 sm, and consists of a romantic collection of Mediterranean styled buildings. Riverwalk Viewing Pavilions

L O W E L L , M A S S A C H U S E T T S

Sited within various locations in a park along the Merrimack River, each viewing pavilion was designed to provide rest and shelter along this newly landscaped one mile stretch. Inspired by industrial and historical mills flanking the new walk, each pavilion would also mark and exhibit a historical timeline of events and pose as sculptural forms along the rivers edge. Dynamic shapes respond and salute the river and its wildlife reserve. Theatrical night lighting also animates and paints the 15 to 18 foot steel glass, and concrete canopies.

Adjacent to the New Orleans Superdome and the Mississippi River, the design of the 500,000 SF Entergy Corporate Headquarters would become a stately symbol of the marriage of traditional design and contemporary thinking. The image is created by the river facing glass curtain wall which curves along the bladed edge of the 35 stories of executive suites. Stepped back limestone surfaces, and rhythmic placement of a reinterpretation of the traditional New Orleans window / shutter concept, gives it pedestrian scale. The top is crowned by steel masts that salute the working tugboats of the Mississippi River.
