What is a Career?
▪ It is long-term or lifelong work: a job oroccupation regarded as a long-term orlifelong activity
What is a Job?
▪ A job is work that you do that earns youmoney, pay or salary
What is a Profession?
▪ An occupation such as law, medicine,engineering, that requires more training andspecialized study
What is Apprenticeship?
▪ An agreement to work for another personfor a specific amount of time in return forlearning/training/work experience in atrade, art, or business

▪ A natural ability one is born with that can beenhanced or improved by training and practice
What is a Skill?
▪ Something you develop with training

Experience:
▪ Get a job during the vacation and or weekends
▪ Volunteering is a great way to gain experience and training
