Hours• Consult website for current hours: MiamiOH.edu/health• Miami Heath Services follows the class-session schedule
with hours Monday through Saturday. • During summer and non-session times, the center generally
is open Monday through Friday.
Parking• Campus Avenue Garage next to Health Services• Ticket validated by staff with 90-minute waived
voucher upon discharge.

Physicians• Deb Richardson, MD
An alumni of Wright State Medical School in Dayton, Dr. Richardson has cared for students through Miami Health Services since 1990, focusing on general medicine, illness, injury, and travel medicine. She completed her family practice residency with St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Northern Kentucky.
• Susan Bantz, MDAn alumni of Miami University, Dr. Bantz has worked with Miami Health Services since 2008, focusing on general medicine patients. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her family practice residency at Hinsdale Hospital in Illinois.

Certified Nurse Practitioners• Ms. Tammy Gustin, FNP
With Miami Health Services since 2002, Ms. Gustin earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Cincinnati and her Master of Science in the family nurse practitioner program at Wright State University. She is Board Certified in family practice and pediatrics. Ms. Gustin has particular experience in women’s health and the medical management of eating disorders
• Ms. Sara Skolnick, FNPWith Miami Health Services since 2003, Ms. Skolnick specializes in women’s gynecological health. Board certified, she received her Master of Science in nursing from the University of Tennessee. In 2009, she was awarded the Miami Pride award and in 2010 the Women's Leadership award presented by the Miami Women's Center.

Certified Nurse Practitioners• Rebecca Petraglia, FNP
With Miami Health Services since 2012, Ms. Petraglia earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training (sports medicine) from Miami University. Board certified, she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Cincinnati.
Ms. Petraglia holds additional certifications in TNCC (trauma nurse core certified), ACLS (advanced cardiovascular life support) and PALS (pediatric advanced life support).

Certified Nurse Practitioners• Marie Kehr, FNP
Ms. Kehr earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from Anderson University in Illinois and her Master’s Degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati’s Family Practitioner’s Program. She is board certified through ANCC. Marie has extensive experience in retail health, women's health, family practice and urgent care.
• April Tenhunfeld, FNPMs. Tenhunfeld earned both her Bachelor of Science degree and her Master of Science degree in nursing through Indiana Wesleyan University. She has clinical experience in primary, urgent and emergency care.

Medical Directors• Matt Birkle, MD
A Cincinnati native, Dr. Birkle worked his way through the University of Cincinnati as a nursing assistant and EMT/firefighter. He completed medical school at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton and his residency at Summa Health System in Akron. Dr. Birkle also serves as medical director for TriHealth Priority Care.
• Doug Linz, MDDr. Linz completed medical school and his internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan. Additionally, he served his occupational and environmental medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Linz also servesas medical director of TriHealth’s Corporate Health division.

Practice Manager• Cyndi Traficant RN, BS,HCA – Practice Manager
Ms. Traficant has more than 35 years critical care nursing and hospital administrative experience focused primarily in operations management.
Office Manager• Karen Kammer
Ms. Kammer has helped serve the health needs of Miami University students for the past 17-years as office manager of Miami Health Services with prior experience in medical records management.

Visiting On-Site Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy• Matthew Daggy, MD
Dr. Daggy serves as director of Sports Medicine at Oxford’s McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital . A graduate of Wright State University School of Medicine, Dr. Daggy completed his residency with Bethesda Family Medicine and his fellowship with Bethesda Sports Medicine in Cincinnati. He has worked extensively with high schools in the Cincinnati area as well as with the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Cyclones.
• Mark Cristell, DPTMark Cristell serves as director of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation at McCullough-Hyde. A graduate of Miami University, he completed his doctorate in physical therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh and is a certified orthopedic specialist as well as a manual training therapist.

Student Health Services: Fall 2015
• All entering students under age 30 must provide dates of one of the following: Two vaccinations against measles (rubeola) after one year of age, or One vaccination against measles (rubeola) within five years, or Documentation of a measles titer indicating immunity.
• All international students from high-risk countries, as determined from Center for Disease Control data, must demonstrate freedom from tuberculosis.
• The following immunizations are strongly recommended for all students:1. Tdap – within the past five years2. Hepatitis B – series of three vaccinations3. Varicella (chicken pox) – if not had the disease4. Meningococcal Meningitis – one vaccination
