Project Info: The University Pediatric Dentistry Specialists occupy a multi-use building that acts both as a school of pediatric dentistry and a pediatric dentistry office open to the public. The University Pediat- ric Dentistry Specialists needed a space that will easily accommodate students, instructors, administrators, and patients between the ages of two and 25, some of whom have developmental disabilities. I was inspired to use Dreamakür Type II wallcoverings in this project, as well as to custom design my own for Dreamakür to manufacture (see board #3). The wallcoverings feature nat- ural settings which are proven to reduce stress and levels of pain experienced by patients. Lighting choices will use LED bulbs and will be made to reinforce the feeling of a natural environment. Only materials from sources with sustainable practices will be used.
