1.ABSTRACT:

The Main aim of this project is to construct a user friendly multi

Language communication system for illiterate/dumb people traveling by

Airlines. As We have different languages in our world and its impossible

for us to know all the languages. So, In this project we are building a

device that helps them in expressing their needs with other language people

(Airhostess) i.e. request them if we need anything in the flight like coffee,

tea, drinks etc. In This project we use LCD And Touch Screen Technology

To make it easy even to illiterates as it is also included with images, which

indicates the needs. This Even reduces the difficulty to airhostess in

receiving the customers with different languages. Here For wireless

communication purpose we use XBee technology.

2.OBJECTIVES:

This system “Touch screen and XBee based wireless

communication assistant for dumb /illiterates in airlines” was designed a

user friendly multi-language communication system for illiterate/dumb

4. METHODOLOGY:

The transmitter will have the Touch plates sensors , when touch the

particular touch plates that is detected then it gives the signal to the ARM, then

the ARM will send the information to another receiving station through XBee. At

the same time ARM will generate the out put that is fed to buffer IC 4050 ,buffer

stores and given to the driver IC 2003 in driver current will amplifies and

voltage will inverts with the help of Darlington circuit of driver IC to drive the

relay . Then signal is given to the output load for indication purpose.

When ARM receives the data from the XBee, it will enable the alert through

announce which is stored information voice chip for particular touch plates.

5. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES:

1.Very useful even for illiterates.

2.Voice based user input.

5.Helpful in abroad to express user need.

7.CONCLUSION: 

Integrating features of all the hardware components used have

been developed in it. Presence of every module has been reasoned out and

placed carefully, thus contributing to the best working of the unit.

Secondly, using highly advanced IC’s With the help of growing

technology, the project has been successfully implemented. Thus the

project has been successfully designed and tested.
