Thank you: A special thanks from the SLMS PTA to the following businesses for their Polar
Plunge BINGO prize donations: Sky Zone, Papa Murphy’s, Dairy Queen, Chick-Fil-A, Sonic,
Baskin Robbins, and Taco Bell. Prizes were awarded to students as part of the school-sponsored
Polar Plunge BINGO event, in support of Missouri Special Olympics.
Electronic Device Reminder: Students should have all electronic devices, including cell phones,
powered off upon entering the school building. Cell phone, ear bud, and headphone use is not
allowed in the hallways, lunch room, or Privilege areas. Cell phone, ear bud, and headphone use
in the classroom is designated by the teacher. Please see page 17 in the Student Handbook for
additional information.
Dodgeball: Dodge, Dip, Duck!! You don’t want to miss this one! Join us as more than 100
dodgeball teams take the courts to claim the title this year. Get a group of 6 friends together and
fill out the registration form to be a part of the biggest 3-middle school event of the year! The
tournament will be held on Friday, February 9 from 4:45-8:00pm. Registration forms and money

Sports Physicals: Physicals to cover the 2018-19 school year will be offered at LSW on
