Locate plots on ground and on maps (orienteering). Perform basic forest measurements such as tree diameter, height. Measure seedling/sapling growth and vigor. WORK SCHEDULE 40 hours per week at various locations in interior and south-central Alaska. Work 8 days on and 6 days off University pays for living expenses while traveling away from Fairbanks Most work away from Fairbanks, tent camping. QUALIFICATIONS At least 1 year of post-secondary education in forestry, NRM, biology or related field Preferred college course in resource measurements and plant identification
