checks, Perkins and Short-Term loans processing and support, and recovery of delinquent balances due, ensuring the timely deposit of funds, and

safeguarding Central Washington University's assets.

Student Accounts – What We Do

Assist students/parents with account questions• Must have signed Release of Information Form for parent or other person

requesting information regarding the student’s account.

Issue Billing Statements• Issued monthly via student’s Groupwise email*Reminder: No need to wait for statement to make payment (Tuition/Fees due 5th day of classes each quarter)

Issue 1098-T Form• Social Security Number on file with Admission• Online/Mailed end of January to home/permanent address• Form at: MyCWU/FinancialToolBox/AcctInquiry/AcctServices/1098-T • Make sure to keep your address up-to-date on MyCWU!!!

Other• Assist with Guaranteed Sources & GET funding• Assist & Advise students with student account holds

Take Your Payments - in Person, on the Web, or by Mail• Check, money order, debit, credit or cash – when paying in person• Always identify your payment with your name and student ID#• Credit cards (Visa/MasterCard/Discover) & E-checks via Web*2.75% convenience fee charged by credit card servicer (not CWU) on total amount of payment with all online credit/debit payments.

Important Payment Due Dates• Tuition due the 5th day of class• Room & Board due according to housing contract• Bookstore, parking, health center, library and other charges

are due when they post to MyCWU. • Financial Aid Authorization Form

Issue Refunds and Payroll Checks• Finaid overpayments refunded approx. 8th day of class • Mailed refunds go to Mailing/Home address in MyCWU• Work Study students are paid twice per month (10th & 25th)• All checks mailed/deposited to your account• Parent loans refunded by mail or by direct deposit• Direct Deposit form
