Part II: Reflection

CANDIDATE REFLECTIONS:(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)

1. Briefly describe the field experience. What did you learn about technology facilitation and leadership from completing this field experience? The WebQuest broadened my thoughts on what all goes into planning a rich multimedia filled lesson. There is an obvious amount of content knowledge one must have in order to be successful, but the amount of pedagogical knowledge and awareness caught me by surprise.

2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs, enthusiasm) required of a technology facilitator or technology leader? (Refer to the standards you selected in Part I. Use the language of the PSC standards in your answer and reflect on all 3knowledge, skills, and dispositions.)

In order to complete this project , not only did I need to know a surface amount about networking, but I also needed to be aware of my audience as I planned. I needed to make sure that everything I did would be appropriate and reasonable for me to ask of my students. I think I accomplished this.

3. Describe how this field experience impacted school improvement, faculty development or student learning at your school. How can the impact be assessed? This lesson has only been assigned within the last week, so it is difficult to say at this time. However, I would hope that project such as this that is to say projects that are real world authentic start to become the norm at my school.
