b. Most actively traded benchmarks (E.g. WTI, Brent for Oil,Platts IODEX for Iron Ore etc.) (Note: Discuss how it bringsabout price discovery) (If possible, discuss briefly the

methodology behind these indices) 

c. Derivatives and Financial Instruments (eg. Swaps, futures,options) 

d. Brief introduction on trading strategies relevant to yourcommodity (eg. Trading crack spread for crude oil) 

4. Price Trends & News 

a. Observe trends from historical news (need not be that recent)and resulting price movements (eg. China GDP and IndustrialProduction Rates affect steel and iron ore prices) 

b. Short term and Long term forecast in the future

• What is YOUR view on the future of the supply and demand ofthe commodity?

• Briefly mention how it might affect price in short term and long
